Reports just reaching 9jainfoportal.blogspot.com has it that a bomb just exploded at near the palace of the Emir of Kano, Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi about some minutes ago.
According to reports, the bomb took off while Muslim faithfuls were having their Friday prayer session at the central mosque.
It was also learnt that police are currently shooting into the air thereby creating more panic in the residents.
